Where can I find out more information about you?
If you’re interested in knowing a little more about me, you may wish to check out my about me page.
How can I print one of your posts?
Printing a post is easy. Once you are on the page with the post, simply click the link entitled “print this post” and follow the on-screen instructions. Printing from the link instead of using your browser’s print command will format the post so that it fits nicely on a sheet of paper.
Who can leave comments on your blog?
Anyone can leave comments on my blog provided that they are at least thirteen years old or older. When you submit a comment on my blog, you are certifying that you are at least thirteen years of age and agree to comply with my comment policy as listed in my Terms of Use.
What languages can I leave comments in?
You may comment anywhere on my site either in Spanish or English. Comments in any other language will be deleted.
Why aren’t the comments that I’m leaving showing up on your site?
Most comments should show up immediately after they are submitted; however, I do use a Spam filter that can sometimes catch a legitimate comment and mark it as Spam. If your comment gets accidentally marked as Spam, it will not show up on my site. If your comments don’t appear on my site, please contact me and I will make sure they get posted.
How can I find information on your blog?
There are several ways to find what you’re looking for on my site. The easiest is probably to use the search box in the upper right-hand corner of the site. You can also browse through my post categories (located in the left menu) or through my post tags (located in the right menu) to find what you’re looking for.
How can I subscribe to your blog’s updates?
I recommend you subscribe via email. You can also subscribe to one of my two RSS feeds: posts or comments.
How can I contact the owner of this blog?
You can leave a comment in any post or contact me via email. You may also wish to get in touch via Twitter.
Can I republish portions of your blog on my own website?
You can link to my blog from your website and discuss my content on your own website; however I prefer that you do not republish my exact words or reprint one of my photos without my express written consent. Please contact me if you would like to republish some piece of my work. You can read more about this in the Terms of Use.
Please note that another option for adding my content to your site would be to use my widget.
What should I do if I have a technical problem with your site?
Please report all technical problems and error messages you get with my site by sending me an email. In the report, please describe your problem and don’t forget to list the browser you are using and your operating system.
Does your blog have any Terms of Use?
Yes. You can read them HERE.
Spain FAQ:
What do you like most about Spain?
This is a very tough question. There are a lot of things that I like about Spain; however, if I had to choose, I’d say that the nicest thing about the country is the relaxed, slower-paced lifestyle in comparison with the USA. It’s nice to actually enjoy life a bit instead of always being on the go.
Where are you currently living?
I am currently living in Burgos, Spain. If you’d like a little more information about Burgos, you can visit the city hall website. Here’s a map with Burgos marked on it:

I currently live in Burgos, Spain.
What should I pack to travel to Spain?
This is a very common question. In fact, it is so common, I have written a post about it. Read what you should pack for traveling to Spain.
Working Abroad FAQ:
Can you help me find a job abroad?
Finding a job in Spain (and Europe in general) is somewhat hard for Americans and, unfortunately, I really do not have any “tips” or “secrets” about what you can do to find a job abroad. Many people email me with this question and the truth is I don’t really know what to tell them. Remember, I have created this blog to document my experience abroad, I am not an international job agency and I cannot give you advice about international job searches and laws regarding international employment.
Where can I get a scholarship to go to Spain?
As in the last question regarding jobs, I really don’t have a lot of advice for you here. I can tell you that my scholarship to go to Spain is through the Ministerio de Educación of Spain and I believe that the Fulbright organization also offers scholarships; but I really don’t have much more information than that. Please send your questions about scholarships to the people who run the scholarship programs – they will give you much better advice than I can.
