Your posts are super helpful, I love it. I am going to continue reading your lessons.
I too learned "A ver.." like Michelle, it's interesting to see the difference in countries.

Hi everyone,

I am going through the process of getting my Spanish visa as well. Question - I've lived in the UK for the last four years but planning on doing the visa process in NYC (long story) should I get the criminal check from New York state OR from the UK? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I am also going to call the Consulate in NYC so hopefully they can help as well.

A 2nd question, how long did it take for the visa to be processed?

Thanks everyone
Janet

I will definitely have a look at this book. I've lived in Europe on an off, and have been lucky enough to have friends introduce me to some of the better literature. You can miss a lot of good reads when you're outside of Europe if you don't actively look for foreign literature. This book will be of particular interest since it is set in Barcelona. I love the atmosphere and the architecture there. It has become a favorite holiday spot, and a place I visit as often as I can.

Thanks for the book recommendation.
