I want to start off by saying that I’m sorry that I haven’t updated this page in a while. I was student teaching (in Spanish) this semester and got quite busy designing lessons toward the end, so… I haven’t had time to get online. My student teaching is now over (I got an A+) and I should have time to write on a more regular basis now.
The second (and more important) thing that I’d like to mention in this entry is that I was recently notified that I was awarded the scholarship that I applied for to go to Spain and teach English. Continue reading this post…

Just the other day I got together the last supporting documents I needed for my scholarship to go to Spain and I just mailed them out yesterday. Now, all I have to do is sit back, relax, and PRAY that they give me a scholarship. hehe I’m thinking that my chances are good, but I’ll keep you posted on my status. Continue reading this post…

Well, as my loyal readers know, I am currently working on an application for a scholarship which would allow me to go to Spain and teach English for one year. First, I want to say that I’m sorry for not updating in a while. I’ve been busy with school work and just waiting until the application for me to teach in Spain was put online. But now, my wait is finally over: the application went online just last week. It took a lot longer than I thought it would for the application to go online, but I’m glad that I’ve waited patiently and I have already started getting some materials around for it. Things in Spain go slow… about as slow as this snail. As I mentioned in my first post, I’m currently getting ready to apply for a scholarship from the Spanish Ministerio de Educación y Ciencia to go back to Spain and teach English.
