The Spain apartment search is on

Anybody have a cheap apartment in Burgos that they want to rent to me?  My lease is up in the place that I’m currently living at and it’s time for me to start looking for a new place to live.

You know, the whole “apartment search” thing for me is a little stressful.  After all, I can only be in the place that I’m currently at until the end of June and, because of the looming deadline, I can’t help but wonder what might happen if I don’t find a new apartment to move into by the time my current lease expires.  Will I become a member of the Burgos homeless population?  Will I have to rename this blog to “Abroad in the streets of Spain?”   I hope not.

In any event, if you’re currently looking for a Spanish “piso,” you might want to check out a post I wrote on searching for a place to live in Spain.  Ah… and don’t forget to leave me some comments below.

Hasta luego,
–Chris

    Hi Chris.
I teach at a Primary School (9 yr old students) in England and I am hoping to get my class to study a village in Spain. We desperately need some feedback to our questions about village life across there. Books and web are okay but nothing beats human contact. Any help would be much appreciated.
Cheers. They have been learning Spanish for over a year.

  • Hi Steve – I’d be glad to help you with your class. Send me the details in an email. If you have questions that you would like me to respond to, send those as well… the only thing is I live in a city as opposed to a village in Spain. I’m still happy to help though… drop me an email.

  • Update: I found a place to live! I move at the end of the month. I guess I won’t have to live on the streets after all.

Good news! Cardboard houses aren’t that much fun. I slept in a bus shelter for one night and that was enough.

  • @Steve – Ugh… a bus shelter? That would be bad, even if it was only for a night.
